Discipleship Ranch Ministry.

Discipleship Ranch Ministry.

Matthew 28:19-20

Who are the people that come to the ranch?

The men and woman who come through our doors are the ones who have become distressed by life’s hardships. They are society’s rejects: drug addicts, alcoholics, the homeless, and the hopeless. They hear about the ranch through the grapevine in the drug culture or set free outreach teams in our communities throughout riverside and San Bernardino County. Some people come here with referrals from one or many agencies in the inland empire. Social service, parole, and probation. Or on some occasion the court uses the ranch as an alternative sentence for an individual facing jail time.

What happens after the ranchg?

How long is the stay and what does it entail?

Phase 1 spans a 60-day blackout period, during which participants focus on maintaining sobriety and cultivating a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. This phase includes mandatory, meticulously scheduled group classes centered on direct biblical teachings. Upon completing the initial 60 days, participants have the choice to either continue with subsequent phases of the program or return home to their families

The History of the Ranch

The first Ranch was launched by Willie Dalgity in Cabazon, CA, in 1994. Thousands of individuals have experienced the Ranch and surrendered their lives to Christ. Since then, Set Free Ranches have been planted throughout the county. Some of the Set Free facilities are in Needles, CA, Phelan CA, and now twenty-nine palms CA.

Phase 2: involves a commitment of 6 to 8 months where men will actively engage in community activities, participating in blessings and other events. The framework established in Phase 1 remains intact but allows for more relaxed participation.

Phase 3: marks a pivotal period where we evaluate each participant's inclination to continue their ministry within the church or explore opportunities for meaningful employment.
